Planet of origin: I’ll be honest, I don’t know where he was when Kila acquired him.
“Oh, I fly the ship and run the teleporter, the food synth and the other tech! Kila’s from a super poor planet, so she doesn’t know much about tech. But don’t tell her I told you that. SHE’S SENSITIVE ABOUT IT.”
Ferris was born into a crime family. He has no aptitude for crime or even aggression. Everyone was relieved when circumstances permitted him to take on a job as Kila’s ‘subordinate’ (which is kind of like a legally recognized henchman, and in practical terms works out to make him her chauffeur and tech support guy), giving him a chance to get out of there and go see the universe. Everyone but his mom, anyway. Don’t worry about her.
