Kila: Ragged edges are difficult to work with, both in the attachment site and the joining end. If you have a little extra to work with, it’s a good idea to trim it to be more smooth. Even in emergency situations DO NOT EVER use a limb that is the wrong length because some people will make it clear to you that they would rather be left to die.
