I’ve- eh- I’ve looked up what happens when first contact is made on a planet, since coming here. Suppose we talk to Macey and she learns aliens exist. What happens to her then? If she tells others- she may be investigated by her government. She may be disbelieved and treated as an insane person. Or if she tells no one she will just have giant secret for rest of her life. It’s stressful. And for what in return? The pleasure of our company? That seems unfair. So, I hope she just takes her nose out of our business.
